ProDec Heavy Duty Tarpaulin 18 x 12ft Waterproof Camping Ground Sheet TARP

Perhaps not heavy duty as described

Tarpaulin being used to keep logs dry and probably will do the job but the material is quite thin and not sure how resilient it would be in high winds, even though described as heavy duty.

Topfield TF5800t PVR

Bought this as an HDD graded PVR at heavily reduced price from Turbosat. I already have the TF5800 original(non facelift version) which has proved to be very reliable and wanted a similar PVR for the bedroom TV. This PVR has a USB port that works well so you can upload and download Topfield files to PC (Laptop preferably for convenience running Windows XP Professional) Lots of good features and Freeview Series Link works quite well on current ship firmware. Very responsive to commands from remote control. (Some PVRs are very slow to respond and drive you mad.) Other main advantage is that this PVR has no cooling fans and therefore runs almost silently. (Fan noise drives me mad and makes listening at low volume levels difficult) Can think of no serious disadvantages except for perhaps the fairly high power consumption in both on and standby modes so has to be well ventilated because of the lack of fan cooling. (Don't cover air vents in casing otherwise it might spontaneously combust) Overall an excellent and well designed PVR.
