Great speaker swap.
I replaced some factory JBL speakers that were 2 ohm speaker with these. 2.5 ohm 6x9 speakers are hard to come by. These were louder, clearer and provided a smoother deep, richness in the woofer and crisp, cleanness in the tweeter. I definitely recommend these if you are replacing factory speakers and not replacing powering with an amp like I did. I would imagine if I added an amp these would even be better.

Competitions is better. This isn’t great.
Needs more padding like the Makita. I’m not sure where this is made but for the price you would think it would be better quality than the Makita version.

2.5 ohm speaker option
1 of 1 found this helpful Great speaker. Expensive and not sure why, but there are little alternatives out there in the 2.0 ohm to 2.5ohm speaker. These are great though. If you need a 2.0 ohm good luck. They are really hard to come by. I had been looking for a long time and this is about the closest you can find.
