Gun - from a Christian perspective
1 of 1 found this helpful The video game "gun" is designed for a mature audience. The actual operations of the game are very simple and it is reasonably easy to figure out how to complete each task with some trial and error, luck, and common sense. The content, language, gore, and sexual content is definitely for a late teen or adult. There were a few times in which I found myself a bit embarrassed by the language as a Christian and there are depictions of men having sex with prostitutes as the "hero" clears a hotel of bad guys. You can see the men "thrusting" down into a prostitute at one point. The killing action with a knife or close range gunshot is also a bit graphic. I was a bit embarrassed when my preschool age son started to repeat some of the language. Overall, I think the game goes overboard into the sex and violence, and I don't think I would have purchased the game had I known how graphic the depictions of sex and violence are.

Great American flag for a historic collection
As a school volunteer I like to bring in flags to show the kids at the middle schools I help out as a Civil War. Flags like this that are affordable, but present an important chapter in American history greatly enhance the teaching experience when discussing states rights, the evolution of the United States, and the significance of our flag in this process.

97th Regimental String Band - favorite of the 1st Nebraska
I have seen the boys at reenactments and love them. Our unit would love to adopt them as our own. I was upset when I lost my original CD, and am glad to find a great replacement.
