Great battery life and internal memory size.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this phone to replace my almost 3-year-old Droid RAZR HD which had a power button failure. I like it mainly because it is exactly like my old phone, and therefore was easy to configure with the same apps and put the same icons in the same places on my home screen; no new-phone learning curve for me! It did take me all day to get it to that condition though.
I love the long battery life that this RAZR HD Maxx has as compared to the RAZR HD. I can use it all day and the battery has barely reached the 50% level. I charge it every night even if it's only down to 80% at the end of the day.
This phone also has twice the internal memory of my previous phone at 32GB instead of 16GB.
I use my phone for reading e-books, and its size makes one-handed operation of the reading app easy.
A drawback of the RAZR HD and HD Maxx is that you cannot remove or replace the battery. When the power button fails, there's literally no way to power cycle the phone. My husband and I have each had our Droid RAZR HD power button fail, his before the phone was 2 years old.
