Great Tripod for a keen amateur - well made and versatile - love it!
2 of 2 found this helpful Really pleased with this Tripod. Lightweight and portable and my Canon 600D EOS fits fine with a battery pack attached. I have wanted a Manfrotto tripod for ages and even though this is pretty much an entry level piece of kit, it is still extremely well made. It may be slightly light in terms of those wanting to use this in gale force winds, but then again I would probably use my monopod in such conditions anyhow. It came with no instructions or box, but as the seller said, it was pretty much unused. If you go to the Manfrotto web site (they are an Italian Company but trade in the UK and web design is in english) you can look up all the technical instructions and details in Adobe PDF format and even download them or print them off. There are even videos showing how to use each design and what they are capable of doing. They also have the current Manfrotto UK price which is helpful when bidding at auction. All in all a quality product that I am very happy with. I suspect that it will also hold its value well and if I want to upgrade in the future I should be able to command pretty much what I paid for it. I have spent a couple of hours playing with my new toy and it simply brings a smile to my face as it is so versatile and capable of so many positions and alterations. If you do not believe me get down to your local camera shop and see one for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

3 of 3 found this helpful I am not being paid to write this review. However, I have been blown away by just how good it is and for the money this is brilliant. Looks the same size as most stackable Hi-Fi components and I have paired it up with a Cambridge Audio Amp and Mission LX 2 speakers. The connectivity and versatility is awesome - it has DAB, FM,Internet Radio, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, extensive menu screens including date and time displays, an output volume control, as well as a remote. It comes with FM Ariel, as well as 2 more for Bluetooth and DAB and the only criticism is the remote does not light up at night to see the buttons in the dark, and the display (dimmable) is not easy to read from the other side of the room. Connection to wi-fi is easy, so is storing presets (10 on each type like internet, FM, and DAB), and it comes with a 3 year guarantee if you register online. There are also online tutorials in video format on the Majority website. Without trying to sound over-enthusiastic, the features and quality would be worth 3 or 4 times what I paid and maybe because the case is made from tough plastic as opposed to metal, this was a way to keep the price down. Take it from me, it looks good, sounds good, works good, and is priced good.Thoroughly recommended and even has a headphone out socket and with Bluetooth I can play all the music on my phone through it and my Hi-Fi as well as Amazon music playlists and music I own. It really is great and for the money I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend it. Well done Majority - stunning piece of kit and many thanks!
