RE: Chick + Friends
Hi folks,
I bought this CD to go with my volume-one. Corea is the common-thread throughout both CDs.
I much prefer the ensemble: Braxton/Corea/Vitous/DeJohnette out of all the combinations. Volume-two is preferable to volume-one.
A couple of videos from this very concert are available on You Tube (eg. "Impressions") and worth watching.

Hi folks,
Great to own this Corea sampler CD which I used to have on cassette in the 1980s.
I always felt that the chosen pieces were excellent and complimented each other. However, I have always greatly disliked Armando's Rumba and this lengthy piece ruins the collection to a large degree.

Billy Higgns 'EVIDENCE' cd
Bought this to transcribe 'Step Right Up'. Never knew this was Cedar Walton on piano. His playing is AWESOME (and never receives the full recognition i always feel he deserves).
