Surprising story!
1 of 1 found this helpful What a well written account of how important tanks were on the final push of WW2. It is not a pretty story. War isn't. It is sad and painful to the soldiers. Many find it difficult to live with what the experienced! The surprise in the book to me was that the tank commander was my uncle. Uncle Bob was a story teller. We heard many stories of the war. But we never heard these! Naturally, the book kept my complete attention.

This book details, compares and contrasts Germany's possibly too test pilots before and during WWII. Both were women. Very detailed. Very interesting. Great reading. Immensely puzzling.
