Second Sight
I remember these when they were $15.95, and produced by Bausch and Lomb, in Baltimore, Maryland. The optical company that produced everything from microscopes to sunglasses floundered due to mismanagement, and now a pair of shades is $160.00. Go figure.
Well worth it? Damn straight. I'm a medical, and scientific photographer, (who loves the oxford comma), and can talk optics until your head falls off. Buy these, treat them right, and never look back. Adios!

From an Old Hand Who Knows, a Purchase for a Lifetime...
A wonderful, fragrant experience upon opening. The organic treatment of the leather is evident in the aroma, and in the texture. It is a little lighter than in the photos, but promises to earn the deep hue and shiney lustre with decades of age. If you are shorter in stature, (like me), tie a little leather thong on the back of the strap to keep it in place, and you have the purchase of a lifetime !
