Cool idea but Not reliable and leaks
They leak, they actuate anytime they feel like it whether something is in the field of view or not

Many False notifications
10 of 18 found this helpful Camera picks up flying bugs, spiders, rain, cloud shadows and wind blown foliage but sometimes ignores people, deer ect. No matter how you set zones it still does it. Nest support is clueless. They would have you believe its your computer. Standard resopnse is Clean cache, clean cookies, reboot machine, uninstall app and reinstall or we are pushing out a fix. Nothing works folks. I can't say if any other system is better but just be aware of Nest's limitations and adjust your expectations.
