A Clever Marketing Ploy
Don't let the format and hard binding deceive you- this is fundamentally a crafter's magazine restyled. Small, thin, well laid out hardcover book with fairly cute and inexpensive beginner level projects available for additional purchase (yes, these are ads with purchase links) and also given projects that are not up to scale (most project patterns provided need scaling of 200%- 400%). This means that in most all cases none of the projects are immediately accessible: you will need to either go to additional websites to make further purchases or spend time in front of a copy machine enlarging patterns before you can begin any direct work. The visual production quality, style, layout and project types offered are all fine, rather the consideration of this item's overall value just depends on what you are looking for from a durable book.

Soft and substantive padded grip handle, high precision tip with firm clasping action given only minimal pressure, and a well angled thin nose easily slides under objects for quick grasping. Highly recommended for projects that require fine, precise and dexterous support.
