My new best friend
3 of 4 found this helpful It's heavy but for what it can do I don't care. We have 3 long haired German shepherds 1 husky and a huge utonagan dog on top of which there is major construction work on our property being carried out so dust and dog hair is a constant! What I truly love about about my Shark is the ease in which you can change modes from tiled and laminate floors to carpets and rugs because the switch is on the handle along with the on/off button, there is also a light which is a brilliant touch for when you want to detach the handle for use with the brilliant pet hair removing device or duster brush which again I love because I hate conventional dusting because all it does is spread the dust into the air. The light on the handle highlights all the things you wouldn't normally see, cobwebs, dead flies etc. especially when using the long nozzle which gets behind furniture, cabinet's pictures for example. This is the first vacuum cleaner where I have used all the accessories because it is so easy to do.
Another brilliant adaption you can make is to remove the main body of the cleaner so you can get under furniture to clean and its done so easily with just a push of a button absolutely brilliant, no fighting cables or bending, on top of which it's simple and stress free to reattach and again all the controls are in your hand all the time.
I have had to take the brush out to remove tangled dog hair but my house is the ultimate challenge and the removal of the brush was sooo easy I won't knock off any points for that. I have killed more vacuum cleaners in 15 years than most cars have splattered flies but this one is a keeper and If cleaning the filters and removing untangled hair is all I have to do now and then I am more than happy π
