TTP226 8 Channel Digital Capacitive Switch
The Unit worked well, the over all manufacture of the unit was good, component placing and flow soldering were of a high standard. my only down point is the key pad numbering, it reads from right to left! for me as a European I find it a little confusing?

I2c Serial Interface Board
The I2c Serial Interface Board is based on the PCF8574 Remote 8-bit I/O expander for I2C-bus,
So this Board will convert an LCD Display with the Hitachi HD44780 LCD Controller from the
Normal 6 Parallel pins to the simple 2 wire SDA/SCL I2C-Bus, I have tried the following Displays
LCD 8 X 2 Displays,
LCD 16 X 2 Displays,
LCD 20 X 2 Displays,
LCD 20 X 4 Displays
So now you have a way of adding a LCD display to an Attiny85 Project?
For fun (see pics) I have an Attiny85 controlling five different LCD Displays using I2c Serial Interface boards.
I have used a lot of these boards and you will need to check the address as some boards are shipped with 0x27 or 0x3F address but it’s very easy to change, you must make sure you have not got an address conflict on the I2c-bus, you can change the displays contrast with the onboard potentiometer.
Have Fun
