cheap alternative to Webasto but not as hot and how long will it last

not sure this heater is 8kws as it does not produce the same temprature air as my 18 year old webasto airtop 5000 rated at 5.5 kws Also the remote had no battery fitted and after fitting a new battery and the light working on the remote it does not operate the heater and the digital panel supplied is not as shown in the manual Otherwise it seams a good item and a fraction of the price of the Webasto Regards Paul
