Awesome guitar for the price!
4 of 4 found this helpful This is the first review I have ever posted. I felt a need to since I like to read reviews before I purchase guitars.
I got this guitar yesterday. For $99.99 I was expecting an ok guitar that probably needed some work. Having my share of cheap guitars I know what to expect.
When I pulled it out of the box and examined it the finish is flawless, the body is solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. I purchased a Tele clone by Sawtooth for the same price as this one and although it is a decent and playable instrument, it is light as a feather and the body seems cheap, this guitar on the other hand feels totally different. The neck is smooth with no sharp edges, besides tuning it, it was playable right out of the box. The action feels good and the neck also doesn't feel cheap. It is fun to play.
The only thing i didn't like about it is the head stock, in my opinion is ugly. I was going to purchase a Telecaster neck and replace it but luckily it is not too different from a Telecaster head stock and after some sanding i shaped it like a tele headstock so now I will just keep it.
So I would definitely recommend buying this guitar. It may not be an American Tele but it surely doesn't feel cheap for the price that it is!
