Be aware this needs a transformer if you use it in the UK
This model is an excellent coffee maker. We had been using a very similar item in our church for coffee time after the Sunday service; when it broke down I wanted another one just like it but couldn't find anything in the UK, so I ordered this one from the US. It works a treat: easy to use, brews really good coffee and keeps it warm until needed BUT it's designed to use with American voltage, so I had to buy a 'step down' transformer that cost more than the coffee maker! I don't understand why it's impossible to find anything like this in the UK - they are such useful machines.

This book is fun to read but James Veitch's Ted Talks are even better
