works great
It does everything it is supposed to do.

watch out for current rating.
First, I tested it at a small (1 amp.) current drain and it worked fine. As soon as I tried to use it for a current that even less than half (12 Amperes) of the rated current (40 Amperes), it failed. Failure took the following scenario: It stayed turned on even after the DC voltage was removed. I could not get it to return to the original state - to get it to turn off, no matter if I removed the DC voltage, reversed the polarity of the DC voltage, or thereafter re-applying a positive DC voltage. The LED would light up when positive voltage applied even after reversal of DC voltage polarity was tried. Therefore, I know that no damage was done by reversing DC voltage. I am in the United States, hence the voltage I was trying to switch on the output was the standard 117 VAC house voltage. Nor was there any way I could have exceeded rated current because this circuit was on a 20 Ampere Circuit Breaker and that is half of the rated output of the Relay.

yup
works okay and easy to install. not much more I could say about a socket!
