It Could Be Better
I am a dinosaur who prefers an optical viewfinder. While the screen does flip out and I'm guessing I'll get used to it, I so wish there was a traditional viewfinder. Aside from that it's an ok replacement for my old Nikon.

Good & Bad
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought my A1000 from Ted's Electronics and there's good and bad. The good is that it's a great little camera, the bad is that after I dropped it and shipped it to Nikon USA for repair it was returned with the invoice stamped "NON-US CAMERA." I should have researched further. Be careful when purchasing.
