Incredible sound quality at a reasonable price
2 of 2 found this helpful The ATH-R70x has incredible tone, imaging, and sound-stage. The neutral response is great for hearing music exactly as intended, or equalize to your sound preferences. Whether you are using them for mixing or casual listening, they can be worn comfortably for many hours at a time. The only drawback of these headphones is that they require a headphone amplifier: don't expect good sound quality if they are plugged into a phone, tablet, laptop, or computer.

Here comes the BOOM
1 of 1 found this helpful These IEM's have a warm sound and strong low-end response and decent mid and treble quality. There is a distinct "V" tuning with slightly bloated bass and emphasized high-end. A variety of music sounds good through these IEM's, but rock, electronic, and trap/bass music really shine.
The fit is comfortable, especially if you change the tips to memory foam. The cable is somewhat thicker and stiffer than with other IEM's and less prone to tangling.
I would suggest these IEM's to "bass-heads". Lovers of acoustic, pop, jazz, and classical likely will want to look elsewhere.
