Hotpoint grid cleaner
I have a Hotpoint Gas on Glass hob. The grids are cast iron and where the flame comes out some type of coated metal. I have tried so many products trying to clean even a small black mark on these. I would have to spend hours first soaking then using a green jaggy scrubber and whatever product I was using. Eventually the marks came off but with some amount of elbow grease. The Hotpoint Grid cleaner makes this laborious cleaning job shorter. You still have to put a lot of effort into cleaning both the cast iron grids and where the flame comes out but it’s somehow a bit easier with this cleaner. The grids are somehow easier to clean with it too. If you have tried many products and like me cleaning was laborious please give this a go. Another little tip when you have thoroughly cleaned the cast iron grids use a little bit of cooking oil on kitchen paper wiping them over and then rubbing this off. This makes further cleaning easier and makes the cast iron look better. Don’t though use any oil where the flames come out. Only use it on the cast iron parts.
