If you own this pedal but don't use it, buy this mod kit!
Did this mod, and it worked like a charm. Made the pedal MUCH better sounding. It is a little tricky soldering to the tiny pads on the board, but other than that, the mod is easy. I also changed the tube to an 12au7.
Didn't play the pedal much before modding it, because it really didn't sound very good to my ears. This mod, and the tube change made it a great pedal with many different distortions available.

Wonderful Clarinet.
I bought this clarinet for my 60th birthday. Several years ago I bought a Yamaha 20 clarinet, but I didn't play it much. I haven't stopped playing the Backun Alpha since I got it (although I like the Yamaha 4C mouthpiece better than the Backun mouthpiece that it came with). It sounds fantastic, is easier to play, and is lightweight! The instrument appeared to be brand new, even though it was sold as a rental return. A++ purchase!
