Motorola RIZR Z8

I first saw this phone in a shop window and instantly wanted it, primarily because of the look ( the bend in the middle is too cool). I had used motorolas before and never gto on with the menu setup on them but decided to go against that when purchasing this phone. I have to say the menu system is still pretty confusing, if your used to sony ericsson or nokia menus its like trying to learn a whole new language, however after a while (and a lot of reading the manual) it begins to make some sense. There is however one major flaw with this phone but it only really effects text freaks (myself included). Texting on the Z8 key pad is incredibly awkward unless you have fingers no bigger then pinheads, due to the sliding mechanism the top row of numbers is very difficult to text with quickly, the number rows are also quite close together meaning mistake are very easy to make. This leads onto another problem, not as bad as texting itself, but still irritating. The cancel button is right next to the end call button, not uncommon, but due to the fact they don't require much pressure to use i found myself close to the end of a text, making a mistake, going to correct it and getting sent back to the home screen. This is primarily because of my stubby thumbs rather than anything else but it's still irritating. Overall i'm pleased with the phone, it just take a while if your used to practical menus and have large thumbs. (Note; not so good if your very impatient or easily frustrated, may end up becoming part of the wall if you know what i mean.)
