Good but takes time.

Eventually it will pop off the film cassette end/lid but you need to rotate the can a few times and keep squeezing the device for about thirty seconds altogether. Safer than the 'can-opener' type of opener but not as quick and effective.

Seat pivots on spindle pin that can unscrew itself.

Be careful because the hinge joints pivot on phillips screws inside a spindle, which can loosen as you attempt to get the spacing/position correct, and you may not notice that one side of the pivoting joint has worked itself loose until you have stuck it down, which is a bit late!
