Now changed by Oxbow and a waste of money.
Our five pigs used to go mental for these. One had urinary issues, hence why we bought them, but the problem was stopping the other pigs stealing them off the one they were intended for. Then a couple of months ago, they were out of stock everywhere. I since found out because Oxbow have changed the product (new product identified by the groove across the centre). Not one of our pigs will touch this new production. Not one. You can leave it in their dry feed bowl for days. Not a nibble. I contacted Oxbow. They just acknowledged that they had changed the product, that's all.

The only fix needed for MT-10 brakes
Every review on Yamaha's MT-10 is critical of the standard brakes. On my first ride, it was immediately obvious that they just lack any feel and real power. I'd read accounts of expensive Brembo radial master cylinder swaps and brake line swaps which also involves removing the air box to get to the ABS pump. That was not where I wanted to go. So, I have used EBC GP-FAX track only brake pads in other bikes and whilst they are fantastic, they are not road legal, so this time I went for these SBS RST brake pads, despite never using any SBS products in the 129 motorcycles that I have owned. They have been an instant fix. From the very first ride, they felt great. I notice that when I fitted them, the front discs on my 1200 mile MT-10 still showed the factory grinding marks on the braking surfacre. But after 100 miles with these pads, they had vanished. A graphic illustration of the increased braking force. I would 100% recommend these brake pads.

On My Second Pair.
4 of 4 found this helpful I've used these on the road and on track without any concerns at all. The guy in the pit box next to me, who was in my intermediate group, had fitted Maxxis Diamonds and at lunchtime had to visit the resident tyre truck to get rid of them, he thought they were so bad. After he'd sprung £325 for a pair of Supercorsa SC2s, we had some good sessions together in the afternoon as our pace was very similar. I had no 'moments' due to the tyres, all day. They are only single compound and not the quickest steering, but stability, adhesion and longevity are very good. Unbelievable value tyre. Try them.
