Excellent.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought two of these. Very good quality and value for money. Had a bit of difficulty assembling it, but the man I bought it from assembled it when my son took it in to him. It was just the 4 dark purple sliding up and down bits on the side. We couldn't figure out what to do with them. They just literally slid down attaching both halves of the carrier together. Easy when you know how !!

Good, but watch the original black and white one instead.
I bought this DVD as i had bought ,on Ebay, a DVD of the original Lord of The Flies film from the 1960`s a few weeks earlier.I really wanted to see the original film again, as i hadn`t seen it in years, and I also wanted my teenage son to watch it,to see what he thought of it. Knowing he wouldn`t appreciate an old, black and white film, i knew he would be more interested in the re-make.He really enjoyed it, as i did, too.The downside, compared to the original, is the schoolboys in the modern version are Americans, not British. Not that this matters, except that in the book, the boys are British also. There was quite a bit of bad language in the film, which i am almost certain isn`t in William Fielding`s book either. A sign of the times, no doubt; that if a film doesn`t contain either swearing, sex or violence in it, that it will somehow be boring! Of course, because of the subject matter, there IS violence in the film;not gratuitously, but i think it is certainly relevant to the story, and therefore, necessary. The bad language, however, is not. After seeing both new and original versions of this film recently, i would strongly recommend to people NOT to watch this particular version, but the original, black and white. Far superior.Although the modern version is still a good watch.
