Three months ago, I switched to a low carb/keto diet and the one thing I missed most was pizza. Last week a friend of mine asked if I had heard of chaffles. Quick search revealed they were the keto version of waffles. So I ordered this waffle maker which arrived yesterday. Guess what the first thing I made was? Yep, pizza chaffle. It was sooooo good. The chaffles came out perfect first time. Obviously I made the chaffle first, then added the tomato sauce and pizza toppings after and then put it in the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese on top. But there are recipes that include the pizza ingredients in the chaffle itself. If anyone wants the basic recipe for chaffles, it's one large egg and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese mixed together and put in the waffle maker for 3-4 minutes. For me, this waffle maker is great. It's so easy to use and the chaffles come out perfect.
