super easy install, super bright picture now
My picture was dull on my 60" TV (9 yr old projection TV) so I ordered this replacement lamp. It was easy to install and the picture right now is brilliant and the way I it was when new..............cool

Key of a Minor
Well, as a pro musician (of the starving variety) trying to survive in the Jazz arena, I thought this was a CD I had to have. And I guess you might say ..WTF ? since this CD is of the younger sounding music. Yes it's not Jazz and I play Jazz as well as Blues (to make money)but mostly Jazz, but the song I bought this CD for was just so damned haunting to me that it started coming out in my playing so I finally looked for it on eBay and bought this. The rest of the tunes are fine but to my taste the tune that did it for me is "EVEN ANGELS FALL" it is just a song with a not too predictable set of chord changes but the instrument that captured me was Jessica's voice itself. It just haunted me. She's my daughters age and very easy to look at (attractive) but that inflection and emotion laden with lament is what I personally really like about that work. I hummed the tune all day long, figured out the mechanics of it and, even as I said before, it started to come out in my improvising on my gigs. I don't think I can say too much more about this CD other than the rest of the songs are also good but to my taste Even Angels Fall is it....Vinny with The Ezra Blue Trio

On Wes
Being a self taught Jazz guitarist, Wes Montgomery has been one of my guitar heros since the first time I heard his unique sound way back when. It gave me encouragement to go ahead even though the only thing I had was my ear sense. I have never had any "reading" lessons. It is very helpful to learn to read music BUT I have notice something very peculiar about readers (especially keyboard guys) When they ask for charts or music sheets for tunes when they are sitting in on a gig, they seem to panic when I say that I don't use them. It sometimes, and I say SOMETIMES it cripples you and you can't use your music sense or as I call it, your ear sense. It is very possible and probable that you can do or have both. I love Pat Martinos playing because he is always substituting different chords and even different progressions in his playing. But back to Wes, this CD contains 14 examples of his best work. I like "Four on Six" the best and of course "Yesterdays" (not "Yesterday" btw). Wes even plays Bass (must be a 6 string Bass because of his lead work ) on "Body and Soul". I also especially like "Groove Yard" and I guess all the 14 tunes really. Some of the notable musicians that play with Wes on this CD are Milt Jackson, Philly Joe Jones, Tommy Flanagan, his brothers Buddy and Monk Montgomery and even Kenny Burrell and others. Its a very nice CD.
