Does what it should.

This is a decent budget milspec kit. Everything fit in as it should and I do think that the polished faces on the fire control group smooth out the trigger quite a bit. There are a lot of casting marks on the pieces (bolt catch and safety in particular) and the coating feels like it was rustoleum. All in all though not too bad. If you are trying to build and on a budget you don't have anything to lose and can upgrade specific parts later on.

Barrel Thread Protector 1/2-28, knurled Stainless Steel

Really high quality but BIG.

This is a really nice thread protector. Threading is clean and sharp. The knurling is really well done and grippy. Nice stainless. the only downside is this thing is really big. It is wider than my heavy barrel ar15 and double the length of any pistol threads. It looks pretty goofy on anything without a bull barrel or at least HBAR. Nice piece. Just pay attention to the measurements.
