Vintage motorcycle builder/engineer and industrial welder. I have a keen interest in pre 1930 s motorcycles and I have built one from parts obtained from the 'old boy network' and eBay. Its going great, perfect sound and it took seven years to build - rare parts. Needs registering now and then a run around the countryside. Blue skies around the corner..

I used the mechanism but the trouble was...
I used the mechanism but the trouble was; the belt was on the wrong way round. So a bit of work was required here, also the belt needed cleaning. After the belt dried it started rewinding properly. Still I did not pay the earth for it.
