Solid Performer
Pros: Quite Powerful, fairly fast, up to 1 GB Ram, light, interchangable accessories and above all its a Toshiba Cons: Cheap port cover, now starting to feel it's age unless you add more ram etc Bottom Line: Not the fastest latest-greatest and cheapest. But it is solid, backed with a good warranty and more features than most Hope this helped Mr-headworthy

Good Little Windows Smartphone
SPV C600 I owned the first windows smartphone that was released simply called the spv, which lasted 3 years, and was manufactured by HTC the same company who have built the SPV c600, so you can rest assured this little phone will last you. GOOD POINTS; Large TFT 65,536 colour screen Superb Build quality will outlast several batteries Windows Mobile 5, operating system Small size for a smartphone Windows Media player Menu configuration is excellent A large amount of applications come as standard, with the option to install thousands more such as Word, Excel and powerpoint. Individuality- not many people have these phones as they weren't available on pay as you go. Expandable memory using mini-SD cards. Thousands of games available Decent 1.3 megapixel camera, but if you're looking for quality pictures choose a Sony Ericsson or a Sharp Call quality is excellent Speaker quality is excellent also BAD POINTS; Unlocking the phone to all networks is a long winded affair and should not be attempted unless you are computer literate. Bluetooth interface is poorly configured. Summary. If you're looking for a phone for work or play with smartphone capabilities this phone is one you should seriously consider, especially if you dont want a touch screen smartphone. Price. Expect to pay anywhere from £90 right up too £200 for a brand new unopened spv c600. I picked up mine for £60 in brand new condition, i was very very lucky, but thats the kind of sale ebay was created to produce in the first place. Hope this helped. UPDATE-14/01/08 Lately the prices have crashed, i have seen them in as "As New" condition for £40.

It's a little Diamond
I bought this for University back in November for £200, for the price i didn't expect much but i was pleasantly surprised. GOOD POINT'S Boots up quickly Super light at around 920grams About the size of the average hard back book, will fit in almost any bag you carry Memory card reader that Will take SD cards up too 32gb, (i currently have a 6gb card) Solid state drive(SSD), far higher damage tolerance as opposed to a hard disc drive (which is handy since you're gonna be carrying this around a lot) Wifi included. Webcam Very small charger pack BAD POINTS 4GB standard memory, 30% of which is in use by Linux Operating System (Easily sorted by buying a large SD card) SUMMARY It's under £200 for a tiny, leightweight and nimble machine that you can easily carry to work or school. Any memory problems are pretty easy to sort so in conclusion i would say it's an absolute great buy. p.s buy a 3g mobile broadband modem and you have the ultimate portable laptop. Hope this helped
