Gauge/dial okay - Pod rubbish
To clarify, the dial/gauge seems fine for what it is. It's not poorly made and if you need a 52mm rev counter for reasonable money this would fit the bill. The problem is the pod. The pod is not designed specifically for the dial and apart from 2 pieces of adhesive backed foam which I assume you are supposed to use to wedge the dial into the pod there is no other way to fix the dial in place inside pod. The instructions are poor and missing important details. I can't say if it works or not as I've not had a chance to fit it and wire it up yet.

Genuine Mercedes part
Genuine Mercedes part in original packing. Fits existing lock barrel. Don't bother with cheap & poor quality alternatives that don't last. Highly recommended.

A waste of my time
18 of 22 found this helpful So after a whole day of trying I've decided to give up with this camera. I'm sure the camera is just fine, the problem is the KPHD app software which is very very poor (look it up on Google Play). The smart-link set up will not accept my router's password. I can see via the router's admin web page that the camera is connected to the network but the app will not allow connection either manually or automatically. Yes I'm standing less than 3M from the router and yes I've triple checked the password - twice. Always the same error message - "Signal too weak or password incorrect". Perhaps my router's the problem but that works fine for everything else and it comes from BT so I'm not changing that. (I couldn't find a frequency setting but as it's a few years old I'm assuming it's on 2.4mhz).
The instructions are absolutely useless, the problem is the translation to English, what is written is literally incomprehensible. The best you can do is take a vague guess based on some of the words which appear in any sentence.
A tip for the makers of this product, if you intend to sell to an English speaking market in future can I suggest you use a professional translation service next time.
I'm sure this product works fine for some people but it's not for me, the KPHD app software is, as previously stated, very poor and it lets down the rest of the product. I also need something which works via my PC as well as my android phone so I need something which supports browser access and this product, as far as I can tell, does not. There is also no hard wire LAN connection something which you will find on other similarly priced products.
I've already bought something else and will be sending this camera back today.
