NIGHTWISH CD ANGELS FALL FIRST USED 1997

DEBUT ALBUM BY NIGHTWISH
Back in the early days of the band I think it's a little unclear what exactly Nightwish were aiming for with their music. I think maybe the bands' founder Tuomas intended for them to be more of an experimental band judging by this album. Not really a metal or rock album but quite heavy with female vocals and lots of keyboards. The genre of symphonic metal didn't exist back in 1997 or at least was in its' infancy when this was released so I think the music here reflects the band trying to form a sound of their own, I don't think they've quite found their feet yet. There are some very good and interesting songs on here that sound quite different from the music they came to be known for with later albums. I think Tarjas' voice sounds softer,much more muted here but then again she hadn't developed fully as a singer at the time and was a student like her fellow band members. I don't think you'll be dissapointed by this if you're a Nightwish fan just don't expect any of the bombasticness put forward by their later releases. Well worth a listen.

Good sequal if a little over the top!
I didn't enjoy this movie as much as the first but it's still entertaining. The main character Kurt Sloane is kid napped shortly after winning a cage fight and imprisoned in Thailand on the orders of a millionaire crime lord. He's given a choice, either fight a colossus of a man named Mangut, a 6 foot 10 monster or spend the rest of his life in a brutal Thai prison. Kurt refuses until the criminals get their hands on his wife, who's travelled to Thailand to look for him and try to bail him out of prison. An escape attempt with Kurts' mentor Durand fails whilst Kurt and his allies go to rescue his wife. They run into his new adversary Mongkut, played by elite strongman Hathor Bjornsson which results in his wife getting injured and falling into a coma. The showdown with Mongkut at the end is brutal for Kurt but you have got to suspend disbelief also more than a little. Overall very entertaining if you like martial arts films, just be prepared for quite a bit of blood and violence!

Good Quality
This seems like a good quality product for the price, not used it yet but I'm sure it'll work good for jelly and for making chocolate eggs. If it works out they might even make good presents for Christmas or Birthdays if wrapped up in decorated foil! This mould may even work for making candles!
