I would rate the book in the 2-3 range - intermediate to advanced guitarist

I purchased this book as a reference text for studying country guitar rhythms, riffs and licks. As with all Mel Bay books, it's very complete. The music is written in standard (stave) and tab form and the companion CD makes a nice addition. The only downside, the book is concise. As a prerequisite, to reap the full benefit of the material, it would be very beneficial to have some knowledge of basic music theory. All in all, an excellent book but not for the beginner. On a level of 1(beginning) to 3(advanced), I would rate the book in the 2-3 range - intermediate to advanced guitarist.

Excellent starter set.

Very nice starter chess/checker set. Wooden pieces for both chessmen and checker. Nice sturdy cardboard fold in-half board. The box is nice and sturdy too. If you're looking for a nice starter set for your child or grandchild then this is for you.
