Ultratape hook and loop pads
This product does work but you need to use plenty of pads else it all comes crashing down. The adhesive DOES stain wallpaper/painted walls, even though it says it doesn't. That said, it's a brilliant idea for when you can't use conventional methods to hang a picture.
I recommend this product only if you understand the limitations and use plenty of pads per picture, and realise it WILL stain your walls.

Am-Tech Diamond File
One of those items everybody should have in their tool kit. An impulse purchase that proved to be one of the handiest gadgets I own. I've filed hardened steel with this tool, and still it comes back for more!
