Surefire 6P Original
3 of 3 found this helpful Ok, so everyone knows Surefire builds some nice lights, right? Well, this one is no exception. This is the older incandescent style though. So, if you're expecting it too be super bright you'll be disappointed. Incandescent bulbs are also more susceptible to getting damaged by impact, recoil, etc. It's decent as it comes, but nothing spectacular. It is however, a very high quality piece of equipment in terms of build quality, feel, and durability. It also has the push to activate momentary, and twist to activate constant on, tailcap. I prefer this to the clicky style tailcap because it won't allow me to accidentally activate constant on when I don't want it. I bought this light because I found it for less than $40 shipped. I also had plans to upgrade it with a Malkoff drop in, which cost a little over $40. So, for a little over $90 I ended up with the quality of a Surefire light, with the durability and 320 lumens of the Malkoff, which has excellent throw and spill for my application (weapon light). In my mind, this combo gave me a better cost/benefit ratio than the newer Surefire LED lights, or most other proven lights currently on the market. I like this setup enough that I plan to buy a couple more, along with the Malkoff drop ins, just to have as general purpose flashlights.

Nice little piece
The KAG does exactly what I wanted it for... It's small and unobtrusive but provides a stop for the edge of my forward hand to rest against. This gives me a quick, tactile indexing point to ensure my hand is in the same position each time. In turn, this assures that my hand is in the proper position for my thumb to reach my weapon light consistently. The stop also more or less locks my hand in position while depressing the light's momentary switch giving me a little better leverage, while also allowing me to pull the rifle into my shoulder a little easier. It's lightweight, comfortable, well designed and built, and secures very well to the keymod on my HG. I'd buy it again.

Great for small ear canals
1 of 1 found this helpful Having small ear canals I've always struggled with any type of ear buds. The old style that nestled in the ear and were held in place with the folds of the outer ear just never worked for me and were constantly falling out. I guess my outer ear just wasn't shaped properly to retain them. While the in-the-ear type worked better, I often had trouble getting them to seat deeply enough to stay in securely. Plus, after a while they would make my ear canals sore. And that was using the smallest ear pieces they came with, for those that were packaged with multiple sizes. Then I ran across these in a retail store a little while back. The name said it all, and they LOOKED smaller than others, so I decided to give them a try. And, WHAM! They fit! They stayed in. AND they were comfortable for extended use! I immediately came to eBay to see about finding them at a better price, and ordered two more pair as back-ups. Sound quality is middle of the road, IMO. And I'll admit that I do own others with better sound, and more volume. But, it was worth the trade-off for me due to the comfort and usability factor or these when compared to any others I've ever tried. They are by far the smallest I've ever found, after years of looking for something that would work for me. If you've struggled with ear buds due to small ear canals you owe it to yourself to give these a try.
