Very good for simple phone, one of the few that has a usable speakerphone option, long talk and standby battery life. If considering Razr, get this n

Great price, worked as expected.
This is for a used 1998 Ford Explorer AM / FM / CD / Cassette Radio from an Auto Recycler, to be installed in a 2000 Explorer to replace one with an unreliable CD Player. The unit was received in good condition. This was not advertised as a refurbished unit. Price was definitely on the low end compared to other used units of the same vintage.
Some slight trimming of the vehicle's bezel was needed to fit this radio, but otherwise install was "plug and play. And play, it did. All radio, cassette and CD features functioned normally.

Outstanding Quality, Extremely Rugged, Self Contained, Serviceable, Expandable, Great Manufacturer Suppport
I first found out about the Galaxy Audio Traveler TV8 and TV10 when our Church rented 2 of these from our Audio System vendor, at $550 per event for 2 TV10s and 2 wireless mics. I found 2 TV10s on eBay for about $300 apiece and bought them, mostly to loan to my church for outdoor masses at the cemetery and other outdoor events where no power is available. These required a little work, so I serviced them myself. I have 50 years of electronic experience and own a few portable Chinese PA Units purchased from eBay. There is NO comparison!
The Galaxy Audio Traveler TV8 and TV10 are of astounding quality of design, modularized components, serviceable, extremely rugged, flexible, expandable with customer installable modules for wireless microphone receivers, audio link transmitter (to transmit the program from one TV8 or TV10 to others), Bluetooth, and even a combination MP3 / CD / DVD Player. In addition, there are RCA and 3.5 mm Aux Inputs and Outputs, a combination XLR / 1/4"TRS Mic Input and a second 1/4" TRS Mic Input (No phantom power though).
These are self-contained units with built in universal power supply and two 12V 5AH SLA (gel cell) batteries. Depending on the program (Music vs speech, duty cycle, etc.), run time on batteries can exceed 10 hours. The batteries are user replaceable. The case of these units is extremely rugged as opposed to some of the low priced units.
Power output for the TV8 is 50 Watts RMS. Output for the TV10 is 100Watts RMS. Don't let these numbers fool you. The cheep Chinese units that are advertised at 500 or even 1000 Watts are using a bogus "Maximum Power" rating (that value just before the output stage blows into the middle of next week. Galaxy Audio uses the professionally recognized "RMS" Scale and considering, these are substantial.
The TVHH Handheld Mic is of outstanding quality, has 96 channels and is great for either speech or vocals. the TVMBP "Bodypack" Mic is great for a speaker or clipped to a musical instrument.
The only downside is the price, but they are so much better than the $200 Chinese units. the Galaxy Audio Travelers are made in Taiwan). If you can find these at an open box discount, BUY IT. You will NOT be disappointed!
