Pity about the fixing
Look good on the bike although larger than the photos suggest. Thin plastic guards but seem sturdy when fasteners tight. Effective at keeping hands warmer in cold weather by shielding from wind and rain. Reason for the low score is that the guard on one side was too thin for the bar-end clamp to work properly, allowing the guard to move up/down easily at that end. Powerbronze comms were good but their attempts at fixing my problem by supplying washers were ineffective: none of the washers were of the size needed to clamp properly, and Powerbronze didn’t seem to understand the problem properly despite my supplying photos and a video. In the end I arranged a fix myself, which was simply skimming 0.5mm off the bar-end in a lathe so that it would clamp the guard. Pity.

Better than the simple cap versions
I bought another type of din socket for my motorcycle dash which has a push-on flexi cap but this one is so much better quality. Cap is rigid plastic and more secure, body is better finished, contacts have a plastic insulator to prevent shorting to the metal body and last but not least there is a drain hole to allow water to escape, useful when used on a motorcycle!

Bargain!
Very pleased. Lightweight, appears to be robust. Comfortable to wear. Multi-position beam angle, with sprung detent positions. Was attracted by the zoom/focus function which changes lens-to-LED distance, but no significant effect that I notice (I had expected it to change diameter of light beam/intensity. However the mode switch does provide 2 brightness levels. Batteries can be replaced although I haven't checked availability. I paid less than £10 including a mains charger and Royal Mail 48 hour delivery! Not sure how this pricing is possible: I guess manufactured in high volume in China.
