A Rare Gem
For any fan of Nicol and Swarbrick, this should be part of your collection. The first half of the disc is the original "Close to the Wind' (which includes two tracks featuring then-current Fairport members Pegg and Mattacks), an intimate studio collaboration. The remainder of the disc is "Live at the White Bear", recorded at the pub. A joy, two musicians with a near-telepathic connection and a pint or two (at least). Great fun. This is a very hard item to find on CD - I have the original vinyl but no turntable. Now I can enjoy both.

Fine Music at a great price
These five albums are a sweet selection of his early growth as an artist and entertainer, and it's practically a steal.

It was just delivered 2 hours ago, but its semi-legenday status seems well-deserved. Eager to dive in.
The book is a long out of-print retired UK library paperback that suffered no sign of damage (other than aging) and is pretty well-preserved, partly due to the fitted plastic paperback cover. Affordable.
