Another great collectable set.

Yet another great set of collectables from Lego. Expensive but then Lego always is. Having said that, it lasts for ever so you definitely get your money's worth out of it.

Very small and VERY LOUD.

Very small and VERY LOUD. The tick is disproportionately loud to the size of the clock. I didn't realise it was so small but I should have read the description properly. The bit you have to slide up to set the alarm is quite stiff and fiddly. There are no instructions about inserting the battery. It will do until I have the chance to find something better. On the plus side, it was cheap.

Don't buy new - secondhand is better value.

I bought this because my Grandson saw a picture and asked for it. He lost interest very quickly. The picture is misleading as there isn't a blue 'lake-shaped' baseplate - you have to pretend the boat is on water. The trouble with Duplo is that you don't get much for your money and the entertainment value depends on how imaginative the child is. On the plus side it holds its value very well and fetches good prices on the secondhand market.
