Superbly acted drama with thought provoking ideas

This is a gripping courtroom-type drama. How would you vote if you were the only one who wasn't sure of a guilty verdict that would send a young man to the electric chair? One man wasn't sure and this is his story as well as the story of the other eleven men who tried to make up his mind for him. The black and white filming helps to make the scene tense and authentic and the characters are all very believable - and human. Not all of the men are angry as the title would suggest but they all have very strong ideas of why they are right

It is about exactly what it says it is about: The Canterville Ghost

This has been one of my family's favourite movies for many years. It is great for all ages. It covers all emotions: happy, sad, funny, romantic. Very fulfilling. Of course the Dad is a jerk but then as a scientist one can imagine that he only sees what he can 'see' not what is really real. He learns which is very refreshing. Mum could be a bit more assertive in her understanding of her daughter, but she too, gets there in the end. The cast is superb. Patrick Stewart is totally believable in the role of the ghost and Neve Campbell is a great foil for him.
