For Children who love animals
A friend's 9 year old cries when she reads a book where the animal dies, I did too...when I was a sprout, there were no books then to tell you it was OK to hurt or be sad when animals go away.....
Mr. Rogers tells it sweetly......and that special people who adore animals do cry when they hear of, or have
a beloved pet die....It's OK to grieve....it's not a sign of weakness or flawed character....
This is a very good first experience of loss book.....

A Beautiful Renaissance saga
This was a wonderful adventure from beginning to end....I think it would make a better movie than GWTW
or the recent film Cassanova....
Very well researched and gave one the feeling of being there in the period...
A must read for those lovers of all things Italian.....and historical....
