It Takes One To Know One by Isla Dewar
Isla Dewar always makes me laugh, with her quirky characters & a farty stinky dog in this book. I’ve got all her books & am not lending them out to anyone. Buy your own.

catrin finch - crossing the stone CD
I saw an excellent BBC4 documentary on the harp presented by Catrin Finch and decided to check out her CDs. By coincidence, I heard the first few tracks from Crossing the Stone a few days later in a record shop and was intrigued by her choice of material - especially tunes by Dave Grusin and Pat Metheny. Now that I have bought the album, I am not disappointed - most tracks are superb - refreshingly different - an interesting blend of contemporary and classical, with only a couple of tracks that don't quite work for me. But, in the overall scheme of things - a really great album. I will certainly buy more Catrin Finch albums in the future
