1 of 1 found this helpful We have mostly hardwood floors, and it works great on them! I'm surprised how much (dog hair) it picks up. It stays away from stairs, but we have an area that has about a 1.5 in drop, and it will go down and clean that room, but can't get back up over it. I block that room off if I don't want it to end up there. You can program it to clean while you're gone, but for now, I prefer to run it while I'm home.
