Tangle teezer

First time using one on my 4c natural hair. After taking my hair out of braids and washing and deep conditioning I tried the tangle teezer and it was effortless. Made detangling a minor step with minimal shedding. Definitely a keeper (from first use anyway)

Brazilian survival pack must have

I bought this book last year when I went to Brazil for several months, I didn't speak a word of Portuguese prior and it saved me more times than I can remember when charades failed me. The phonetic spelling is especially helpful as a lot of the language is not pronounced how it is written. It helped me survive 2 months in a favela where none of the locals spoke English, it has everything from haggling and asking directions to flirting and food. I have just purchased it for my friend who is coming to Brazil with me next year as part of a Brazil survival pack - must have for those who wish to delve into Brazilian culture with the locals
