Unacceptably low-quality replacements for the genuine bags.
These bags are not configured the same as the genuine Simplicity bags: the placement of the opening is different and these bags are considerably smaller. They are also constructed of a different material: the genuine bags are made of a synthetic fabric that is quite thick and flexible, whereas these bags are made of a cheap paper-thin material. They also lack the slide closure of the genuine bags, substituting a square of sticky tape. The attached photograph shows a genuine Simplicity bag at the left and the replacement bag in the center, with the replacement bag's package at the right.

I've tried two of these thermometers. They are inaccurate, inconsistent, and unreliable, and therefore useless.
