Smooth Even Sound
Nice balanced set of headphones. The construction of the headband is a little odd, but it stays in place on my head and is really light.
The sound is relatively flat and warm compared to my 58x which has upper bass/low mid bump. It does need a headphone amp. Using it with my RME Babyface pro the R70x is quiet when using the headphone out especially compared with the 58x.
I got these because of their reputation for being neutral and having a flat frequency response, and they deliver on that as advertised.
