Groundsheet pegs just got better!

These pegs seem well made, come in their own neat little box and can be pushed into the ground by hand if it's not too hard. It's just as easy to remove them too!

Blinded by the light!

I use head torches every night at work, this is my second one like this. It's great because the beam is adjustable for distance and close up work, powerful and the light output can be set via a small lever on the battery compartment to suit the user needs, thereby increasing the operating times. I've used more expensive LED Lenser torches before, but they are too complicated and gimmicky to be of real use. This one is small, lightweight and weather proof and you get long use from the 3 AAA batteries (I use rechargeable ones now). Theres no fancy set up programmes (what the hell do you need that for anyway?), if you're worried about the torch switching on inside a pack, reverse a battery! Simples! It would be really nice if they included clips for helmet mounting, thats about my only gripe. If you require a decent and reliable torch, thats powerful, lightweight and thrifty on battery usage, then this is the torch you need!

Not really a case, more of a cover.

It's not a case, more of a one-sided cover. Nice solid feel to it and the colours are excellent, but I wanted a case, not a back cover.
