Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris
I love, love, love these books. I'm just about finished with the series and I think I'm going to start reading them all over again. Sookie Stackhouse is a telepathic waitress from Bon Temps, Louisiana who has a hard time in most areas of her life. She meets a vampire and from there the story unfolds... The series has a television show based on it it, True Blood (also great check it out on HBO), but the two are a little different, but a lot ways very similar. The characters were chosen well and the stories flow some what parallel between the shows and the books. If you like Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and would like to try something a little more fun and erotic... crack one open!!!
