Outstanding device! May be out of date, but you can't beat the price.
Although the maps are a few years out of date and it doesn't have some features found in newer models, this is a fine product... and for the asking price (I picked mine up for $35), you really can't go wrong. I primarily purchased this product for hiking and camping, not so much for getting lost, but rather to record what locations I found something. You see, I'm a paranormal investigator, and I would be utilizing the coordinate feature to record where a noise was heard, or something was found or seen, so that others could go out and try their luck. Secondary use would of course be for driving... however, with the maps being out of date (with no known way to update them yet, being an older / used purchase), you may want to verify extended trips with something like MapQuest or Google Maps. Dislikes. The dislikes really aren't a fault, they're just little things that I wish were different. Buying something newer would alleviate these issues, but again, with the price I paid, I can learn to deal with it. 1. When turning the unit on, there is some time before the device acquires satellite signal, maybe about a minute or two. Haven't tried the device in a heavily wooded area yet to see whether or not it can even get a signal with so much cover. 2. To see your current location / coordinates, you'll have to go into a different menu. Newer models will have coordinates on the main map page. 3. Happened to me once (so far)... the map went from a detailed image (showing side roads and such) to a lesser image (only major roads / highways), even though it still marked / named the side road I was driving on. The only other GPS related device I can honestly compare this to is the GPS functions on my tablet, and truthfully, the tablet makes a crappy GPS (mine's WiFi based), so there really is no comparison. Overall, an excellent GPS, one that I will use for many years to come.

Exercising geek style
This was one of those buys that wasn't a necessity, but will probably be worth it in the long run. The thing that interested me about the game, in particular the Sports Champions, was the gladiator combat; having borrowed this from a friend, I was pleased to discover just how much of a cardio workout it can be. Yes, that's right: this was purchased not so much for the gaming aspect, but as a great fun way to exercise, both for myself and for my children. While it's always advantageous to go outside and play / run about, weather... especially in winter... doesn't always play nice in return. And as far as exercise programs go, it may not be as effective as something geared specifically for fitness, but it does keep one's attention and desire to return. While the challenges on the Champions game, as well as the Medieval game itself, can be played with a single motion controller, it will become apparent that two controllers would be better as it makes for a more "realistic" experience. Normally, I would have rated this a three due to there only being one controller / no navigator control, but on the plus side, it does come with a camera (already had one thanks to Eye of Judgment) and two games. There are a few downloadable add-ons on the Playstation Store, but I really cannot say if those are worth the price or not.

Excellent rack, questionable instructions
The roof rack itself is pretty good, especially considering the price. When assembled, and if assembled properly, it is solid with no give. You just have to follow the instructions (as shown in the attached image); I've read a lot of complaints regarding the instructions that come with the unit, on how the rack sits crooked or uneven, how it "whistles" or makes noise while driving, and how the included instructions are blurry and difficult to read. I have had the rack on for little over a week, and while it hasn't experienced any rain yet, I am not too concerned about leaks, as a used RV adhesive sealant caulk around the vehicle's bolt holes and under the washers; as an extra precaution, I used a clear marine caulk around the bolt heads... perhaps a little overboard, but after having read how people were experiencing leaks... heck, what's a little extra protection? When using the attached instructions, even though the rack assembled nicely without issue, there are a couple rough spots: placing the rear bars is a bit awkward (manageable, but awkward), and trying to tighten the horizontal supports is difficult. For the bars, as long as you haven't tightened the side assemblies, you should be fine; with the supports, you may want to grab your channellock pliers, as the adjusting wheel is on the bottom (and doesn't give your hands much room to get in there). **Mounted on a 2007 FJ Cruiser**
