Better Than Average Features, Fast Response Time
I find this item to be superior to other oximeters in the same price range. I purchased 2 of these and am very pleased. They offer a quick response time and also have the added benefit of reporting the pulse index and the respiration rate. They compare very favorably with known standard units for accuracy for the reported pulse rate and blood oxygen level in side-by-side simultaneous comparison.
Other brands need at least 30 seconds to offer anything approaching an accurate reading, and some that long just to begin to display a reading. These are comparable to higher priced brands. Their only shortcoming that I can see is they do not rotate the display with hand position, which is in line with most other brands. I other words it does not set them apart, but the highlighted features I mention do.

Most Widely Recognized Chest Decompression Device
Excellent product with a reputation for consistent quality control. It is packaged in a very readily identified manner. Cost-effective. The NARS decompression needle in 14 and 10 ga sizes is the recognized standard for emergency field chest decompression.

A True Instrument bargain
Nicely manufactured pieces. Jaws are properly aligned, serrations straight, handles meet as they should and lock properly. Very nice instruments for the money.
