You get what you pay for
For the cost I didn't expect real high sound reproduction, so I wasn't surprised at what I got. The sound reproduction is decent, but my cassettes are quite old, so I don't know if that is having an effect. I get distortion when the tape speeds and slows. Going to try some higher-quality batteries to see if that helps. Would have been nice to have an option for plug-in power on the unit.
